REVIEW OF BOTTLED UP BY LIBERTY STOWE

Vogel Springs collection keeps getting better. Having read Steady Now and enjoying it, I would love to say Bottled Up embodied its predecessor.

With high tension between the protagonists, their connection is progressive as trust is built. All having difficult pasts, assumptions and misunderstandings are made while love prevails. While Delilah’s solution to her problems is to run from them, August’s past makes it impossible to stay in one place; at least that’s what he believes.

I am no book expert, but I read enough books to say that this book unraveled at a steady pace. It gave room for the characters to exist with their quirks and differences. I hope the author writes Anderson’s and Cal’s story. Anyway, I found myself fully immersed in the story. The wordplay between the book’s name and the main characters as well as the winery is wholesome.

What truly kept me immersed was the balance between humor, romance, and adventure. The wordplay between the book’s name, the main characters, and the winery is wholesome and clever, adding layers of charm to the reading experience. It’s the kind of detail that makes you smile as you turn the pages, reminding you that the author is not only telling a story but also inviting you into a playful dialogue.

The pacing is gentle yet engaging, never rushed, and it allows the relationships to develop organically. The chemistry between characters feels authentic, with moments of banter, hesitation, and vulnerability that mirror real human connections. By the time love begins to bloom, it feels earned rather than forced.

This book is an easy, fun read that blends romance, adventure, and wit in a way that feels both comforting and fresh. It’s perfect for readers who enjoy slow-burn relationships, clever wordplay, and a touch of whimsy in their escapades.
